The Good Lord is raising Leaders in GFMI

Continue to pray for them as they have decided to be in full time ministry with GFMI leading our Life of glory assembly in Gweru.We need a US$100 monthly support as they will be doing the work of God.We invite those who feel led by God to give towards this great commitment towards the Kingdom of God.

Sheunopa Sibanda
A young man the Lord has raised with a strong heart in support of our rural Ministry emphasis vision here in Gweru.We will be sending Sheunopa to lead a church that we will be planting in September in Mudzi district.We give you an opportunity to support him.A US$100 will help him make his ministry possible.Pray for the provision of a motorcycle for him as well.
Pray for us as we go through a leadership and Ministry training with him for the next 2 months.

SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

GLORIOUS SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

We have successfully started a school of ministry to cater for raising leaders for our rural calling ministry in 2018. We have started well with 15 students mainly the Pastors and their spouses.

We focus on theological aspects, practical ministry in the villages, leadership, biblical interpretation and how to make and deliver sermons among others. We praise the Lord that this vision has finally been fulfilled.

We are looking for partners who can help with this school of ministry. We need a library to help with research and studies of the emerging leaders. You are free to contact us if you are interested in seeing this vision move forward.

2018 Teams for Zimbabwe

Trinity Point Church

One of our partner church, Trinity Point is beginning to plan and putting together two teams that will be coming to serve alongside GFMI. We do not yet have fixed dates but provisionally that should be June 2018 for the first team and the second team should come to Zimbabwe in August 2018.

Apart from mission work we will have time make teams connect with our motherland Zimbabwe! You will have a chance to see many exciting things, the Victoria Falls, Great Zimbabwe ruins, Largest game park in africa-The Hwange National park just to name the least.

GFMI CURRENT STATE

Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Ministry is a journey that we walk, talk and live for the glory of heaven. It has always been a joy for me to serve the Lord always planning to do the best for my Master Jesus Christ.

I give all credit to the Lord Jesus Christ for this far that he has taken us, how he has corrected me to keep focused on the vision of rural ministry, planting churches and growing leaders for the vision.

We praise God for the growing vision. GFMI has raised 10 Pastors for the work of ministry and 7 churches planted! 2 of the churches are in Mutoko and the rest in Mudzi District. The churches are spread out and it is not possible to reach all of them at once. I do rotations to the churches to see and assess, to preach the word but each church has a leader who stays there to shepherd the flock. I am a leader of the leaders which a huge a difficult task!

Currently we are striving to bring about alignment with our vision and mission this will make sure that we make intentional moves to educate each team member in our leadership to understand why we exist, what we are to achieve and what we stand for. This will be very important for us to move forward and promote unity among us.

We want to work as hard as we can through the power of the Holy Spirit to make sure each church member is helped to be a true follower of Christ and that we all understand what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

It is not about the number of churches or church members but the impact we are causing in the communities and lives that are being changed for Jesus Christ always gives us the joy and keeps us going forward.
